New Boots and New Colors for Our One-Year Anniversary
June marks one year since Alvies launched, and I've been overwhelmed by the positive response. What started as the seed of an idea nearly 8 years ago has grown into a thriving business with thousands of customers.
So first off, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has bought our products, taken the time to send us a message or leave a review, followed us on social media, or read our posts on this blog in the last year. Your support is what makes running a small business worth it.
We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate a year in business than launching some slick new boots, plus new colors of old favorites. So without further ado, let’s get to the boots!
New Boot: The Duval
The Duval is less Western than most of our lineup. We say it has the elegant sophistication of a fashion ankle boot, the soul and heel of a cowboy boot, and the comfort of a clog. You can wear them from the boardroom to the ballroom to the bar and never feel out of place.
New Boot: The Stassney
The Stassney, on the other hand, is our shortest Western boot but is still big on style. Because smaller is baller, we packed the same features of our other cowgirl boots into a rear-zip ankle boot. So you’ll find the same Western profile, cowboy heel, J toe and pull straps.
New Colors in Classic Boots
We’ve had a lot of requests to add some new colors to our top-selling boots, including lighter colors of our men’s cowhide boots, a dark color for The Rainey, and another option for The Rio Grande (which until now only came in black). Happy to announce we’ve answered the call on all of them:
- The Lamar in Hidalgo Honey
- The Rainey in Galway Girl
- The Comal in Hidalgo Honey
- The Rio Grande in Cherry Cola
We have a couple more new products planned for later this year, including a top-requested men’s boot style in the summer and a special release in the fall. Stay tuned!
