Introducing The Rolling Happy Hour
As an Austin company, live music and events are part of our DNA. We started selling boots and flops from our Airstream at 3rd & Congress, right in the heart of the entertainment district. We sold to thousands of visitors and locals alike at SXSW, and also brought the Airstream to countless other music festivals and events.
The loss of live music over the last year and a half has been devastating to Austin. And while some shows have started to return, it’s nowhere near the number or variety it was before the pandemic. That’s why we’re happy to partner with our friends at 3rd & Lamar to introduce the Rolling Happy Hour, a free popup series in Austin that brings live music, cold beer and good times to neighborhoods around town on short notice.
The first show was Gordy Quist of The Band of Heathens in the Waterloo Records parking lot. You can see highlights of the show above, and catch a live stream of it Thursday, July 8 at 9pm on our Facebook page. We’re planning the next one now, and the only way to find out when/where it’s going down is to sign up for email updates at rollinghappyhour.com.
